Hi, my name is Ivo Kircheis. I'm an illustrator and comicartist living in Dresden, Germany. I love sketchbooks since I started drawing at the early age of 27.
I hope this blog helps to refresh my english a little bit, so please be merciful to me... :-)

All of your drawings are amazing! I just love your style.
Your artwork is very good. Hope to see more of your posts.
i absolutely love your sketchbooks! Do you know my dream is to get the delicate lines that you have...how do you do that? is it lots of practice?
Thanks alot!
@soo: Hm... how do I do this? I think the secret is drawing is drawing is drawing... My special practice method is always to draw without tracing in my sketchbooks. So I (and You) can see every mistake I did. By the way: this keeps the artwork living.
This is great. I would love to be able to sketch a view like that.
Fantastic. How long did this take? So much detail. Fantastic.
i've really enjoyed looking through your blog so much Ivo, you have a wonderful technical skill obviously. but also a great sense of humour. I adore your work! Thanks for sharing it...
